Blizzards R Us

The blizzard left us with more than two feet of snow to dig through. The report for the town (North Haven, CT) is 35 inches, but our unofficial measurement in our driveway was 28. We're dug out now and the streets are plowed, if not very widely. But school hasn't resumed, and word came today that it won't reopen until the 20th. I may be the only parent in town who's happy about this: I like having the girls home. They'll have to make up the time in June, of course, but getting up for school when it's sunny and warm is so much nicer than going out in the bleak chill of February.
