Well, here are my favorite shows of all time, which may or may not be the best in some defensible way. No particular order, and I'm probably forgetting some. Certainly there are shows I've really liked that I'm not listing here as favorites (St. Elsewhere, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, Rawhide, Fawlty Towers, etc. etc.):
