I'm happy to report that the Johns Hopkins University Press will be publishing my book Reading Herodotus: A Guided Tour through the Wild Boars, Dancing Suitors, and Crazy Tyrants of The History. It should be out in the fall of 2012.

Damian goes to the gym

Damian McNicholl has had some interesting experiences at the gym in the past, but the woman he encountered this last time is a real lunatic. I'm eager to see what becomes of her. Will she be thrown out by the management or attacked in the parking lot by buff, unamused gym-goers?
