I'm happy to report that the Johns Hopkins University Press will be publishing my book Reading Herodotus: A Guided Tour through the Wild Boars, Dancing Suitors, and Crazy Tyrants of The History. It should be out in the fall of 2012.

Watching the World Change

David Friend, an editor for Vanity Fair, sent along word of his book -- Watching the World Change: The Stories Behind the Images of 9/11 -- and its associated blog, started in August of this year. I mention this here because when I went to the site and started reading I, well, I kept reading, which isn't so usual for me these days. So you might find it interesting to go and have a look.
