I'm happy to report that the Johns Hopkins University Press will be publishing my book Reading Herodotus: A Guided Tour through the Wild Boars, Dancing Suitors, and Crazy Tyrants of The History. It should be out in the fall of 2012.

I haven't been posting scores, but I've been doing Set all week. My scores are consistently between 2:10 and 2:25 (today is 2:12) I use a very methodical approach which leaves no room for either brilliance or disaster.

By the way, Deb, you might want to wander over to the Quote Puzzler and try "The Honeycomb", which is a new game being tested you might get a kick out of.

Hi Debra. I did poorly on the Set again today, 3 minutes, 17 seconds. I don't think I'd better show my face around here tomorrow, judging by the last two or three days!
